Ahmedabad’s dining scene is clearly changing fast. And Maison Twenty-Seven by Bastian proves exactly that. Located inside Ahmedabad Airport, the newly launched property is currently the biggest Bastian outlet in India, with over 400 seats. But honestly, the scale is only one part of the story. The space feels less like a restaurant and more like a complete lifestyle destination. From dramatic interiors and high-energy music to lounge spaces and wellness experiences, everything feels designed around creating an experience instead of just serving food.

Food stylist Gini Desai, who closely experienced the launch, described the vibe perfectly.

“Maison Twenty-Seven by Bastian honestly feels larger than life. The moment you enter, it doesn’t feel like a typical restaurant; it feels like an experience destination. Compared to other Bastian outlets in India, this one feels way bigger, grander, and far more immersive.”

The interiors instantly become one of the biggest highlights. The space feels bold, colourful, luxurious, and visually exciting throughout. Interestingly, the aesthetics also feel surprisingly connected to Ahmedabad and Gujarat’s vibrant personality.

The property reportedly includes olive, orange, and lemon-themed sections, each carrying completely different moods and aesthetics. Combined with dramatic lighting and sound, the entire place feels highly immersive and social. Instead of creating a quiet fine-dining environment, the space felt energetic and lively throughout the evening. The crowd, ambience, and sound system together created a much more international lifestyle vibe.

What also stood out was how thoughtfully the concept adapted itself for Ahmedabad audiences. Even though Bastian carries a globally inspired identity, the property still feels connected to Gujarat’s food culture and local preferences. The vegetarian menu has reportedly been expanded intentionally while still maintaining Bastian’s signature seafood and non-vegetarian offerings.

The food presentation itself became another major attraction during the launch.

“One thing that stood out strongly was how visually innovative the food experience was. Every dish was presented in an extremely beautiful and creative manner. Since Ahmedabad has a large vegetarian audience, they have intentionally expanded their vegetarian menu with several unique additions while still offering ample non-vegetarian variety.” — Gini Desai

But probably the most talked-about attraction was the “Temptation Room”. An entire private room dedicated to unlimited desserts. And honestly, Ahmedabad’s dessert lovers probably needed this.

The Matcha Bar also grabbed strong attention during the launch and reflected Ahmedabad’s growing café and lifestyle culture among younger audiences. Beyond dining, the property also includes lounge areas, a salon, a spa, a gym, wellness spaces, and even a swimming pool. The idea clearly goes beyond traditional hospitality.

People today do not just want luxury dining anymore. They want places worth experiencing, exploring, posting, and talking about. And that shift became very visible during the opening itself.
